Fuquay-Varina Twins Loses Lead Early In Loss To River Bandits

Fuquay-Varina Twins fell behind early and couldn’t come back in an 11-2 loss to Tarboro River Bandits on Monday. Tarboro River Bandits scored on a error in the first inning and a single by Andrew Casey in the second inning.

Five RBI Day For Josh Hoffman Brings Victory For Wake Forest Fungo Over Carolina Pirates

Josh Hoffman was an RBI machine on Sunday, driving in five on three hits to lead Wake Forest Fungo past Carolina Pirates 11-3 on Sunday. Hoffman drove in runs on a sacrifice fly in the second, a single in the fourth, and a triple in the fifth.

Wilson Tobs beat Fuquay-Varina Twins 7-2 on Sunday.

Wilson Tobs pulled away for good with six runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Scarano singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs, Keller doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs, and Seyson singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Premier Collegiate League is excited to announce that we have scheduled exhibition games against some of the top Coastal Plain League teams in our area, along with exhibition games with independent Catawba Valley Stars.

The Peninsula Pilots, Morehead City Marlins, Wilmington Sharks, Asheboro Copperheads, Tri-City Chili Peppers and Wilson Tobs will be matched up against our Premier Collegiate League teams for the upcoming summer season, adding great competition to the schedule.

The Premier Collegiate League is excited to announce that we are expanding for the upcoming 2021 season. Three teams from the Carolina Virginia Collegiate League will be joining the Premier Collegiate League, establishing our new Western Division.

The Wake Forest Fungo, Fuquay-Varina Twins and the Carolina Pirates will anchor the new Western Division, while the Edenton Steamers, Tarboro River Bandits and the Greenbrier Knights will anchor the Eastern Division, with all 6 teams competing for the 2021 Championship.

The 2021 season will also feature a West vs East All-Star Game, featuring the league’s top players.
