Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club
The Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club was founded in 1992 in Chesapeake, VA, with the goal of providing amateur baseball players the opportunity to compete against the top amateur teams in the Tidewater area and across the county.
Over the past 31 years, the Greenbrier Knights have fielded teams in various leagues, tournaments and associations, most notably our collegiate teams, who as a member of the Tidewater Summer League, won 9 Postove Cups, the TSL Championship. Over the years, the Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club has fielded multiple teams, including the Men’s Adult Baseball League, where our team won 8 Tidewater MABL league championships, 12 MABL regional amateur tournament championships and 2 MABL national championships.
In our collegiate division, the Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club puts together one of the most challenging and competitive schedules in the Mid Atlantic region, allowing our teams to compete against some of the top teams from not only the Tidewater Summer League, but also the Coastal Plain League, the Old North State League, as well as other high quality independent teams from across the country.
In 2024, the Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club were excited to join the Tri-City Chili Peppers for the inaugural season of COSMIC BASEBALL, making baseball history, and receiving recognition from MLB, ESPN, CBS Sports, the New York Times, and dozens of other news media outlets.
For the 2025 season, the Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club will be introducing an alter ego, the Chesapeake Bay Scallywags, and we will be playing select games this summer as the Scallywags.
The Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club continues to provide our players, fans and supporters with a high quality, well organized, extremely competitive summer baseball experience, gaining valuable playing experience after their spring collegiate seasons have ended.
2025 SEASON
The Greenbrier Knights Baseball Club will be entering their 32nd season of summer baseball this coming June and are excited for another great summer of collegiate, wood bat baseball.
Schedules will include games with some of the top collegiate teams from the Tidewater area, as well as games with outstanding collegiate teams from the CPL and ONSL. Schedules will allow for a good balance between games, work outs, and days offs, maximizing player development opportunities throughout the summer, while providing our hitters/fielders consistent reps in the field, at bats and our pitchers will enjoy scheduled outings with appropriate days rest between outings, and planned off day workouts, throwing routines and bull pens.
Summer baseball is an outstanding opportunity for players to continue their development after their spring seasons have ended, and help to prepare them for their upcoming fall/spring collegiate season. The Greenbrier Knights have consistently provided collegiate players the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of collegiate summer baseball while staying in the Tidewater area, playing the most competitive schedules, with top quality coaching staffs, great players from across the region and well organized management.
