On a beautiful Friday night in downtown Tarboro, NC, at Tarboro Municipal Stadium, the 2021 All Star Festivities were kicked off by our Home Run Derby.

This yearss Home Run Derby was a bombfest and for the fans who showed up early to catch the action, they were on their feet watching the awesome display of raw power the 2021 PCL Home Run Derby provided.

Josh Pernetti, San Joaquin Delta College/Edenton Steamers was crowned our Champion, after defeating Jose Cazorla, Bryant & Stratton College/Greenbrier Knights in the final round 6 – 5.

Join us tonight in Tarboro, NC for the Premier Collegiate League’s 2021 All Star Game. Gates will open at 4:30pm. Home Run Derby is at 5:30pm and the All Star Game will begin at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at the front gate.

Edenton Steamers Outdone By Wilmington Sharks, 6-1

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 – Edenton, NC

Maximillian Alba pitched Wilmington Sharks to victory. The ace went five innings, allowing one run on four hits, striking out six and walking zero. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Kross Robinson, Joseph Kemlage, Nate Nabholz, and Grant Lohmeier all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Blake Gipson took the loss for Edenton Steamers. The pitcher allowed two hits and three runs over one inning, walking one.

Spencer Ambrose started the game for Edenton Steamers. The southpaw allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out one

Edenton Steamers launched one home run on the day. Aaron Copeland had a homer in the third inning.

Copeland led Edenton Steamers with two hits in four at bats.

John Behrends went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Wilmington Sharks in hits. Wilmington Sharks was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Cody Jansen made the most plays with eight.
