June 4, 2026 – Greenbrier Knights vs. Edenton Steamers

Greenbrier Knights couldn’t keep up with Edenton Steamers and fell 10-3 on Thursday at Edenton Steamers.

Greenbrier Knights were the first to get on the board in the first when Nolan Williford singled, scoring two runs.

Edenton Steamers captured the lead, 4-2, in the bottom of the fourth after Josh Wenz singled to left field, Carter Aycock grounded into a double play, and Aidan Taylor walked, each scoring one run.

Collin Langley earned the win for Edenton Steamers. The starter allowed two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out four and walking two. Gavin Stevens took the loss for Greenbrier Knights. The hurler went three and two-thirds innings, giving up four runs (three earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking five.

Williford provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Greenbrier Knights with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Kai Patton led Greenbrier Knights with two hits in three at bats. Bryce Radcliff paced Greenbrier Knights with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. Greenbrier Knights turned one double play in the game.

Edenton Steamers piled up nine hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Oliver Zohn led Edenton Steamers with three hits in four at bats. Jackson ReidlingAidan Cannaday, and Wenz each drove in two runs for Edenton Steamers. Ian Lindsey collected two hits for Edenton Steamers in four at bats. Edenton Steamers had patience at the plate, piling up 13 walks for the game. Maddox McCrory and Wenz led the team with three bases on balls each. Lindsey stole three bases. Edenton Steamers ran wild on the base paths, piling up eight stolen bases for the game. Edenton Steamers turned one double play in the game. Edenton Steamers were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Lindsey had the most chances in the field with 13.
